My story

“Make your own kind of music,
Sing your own special song,
Make your own kind of music,
Even if nobody else sings along.”
- Cass Elliot
You know when you hear a song that just speaks to you somehow. That seems to capture your spirit and outlook on life in a few short minutes.

'Make your own kind of music' has always been that song for me. If I ever need a little pick-me-up I put it on. And yes, I sing along too, like no one's flippin' listening.

My path towards life coaching began almost twenty years ago when I started working as a vocal coach in London. Over the years I've helped hundreds of students quite literally sing their own special song and make their own kind of music.

For many of my singing students, our lessons were therapeutic in nature, helping them find their voice both literally and figuratively. I found that many people came to me, not only because they wanted to learn to sing, but because they wanted to do something for themselves, often despite previous setbacks and being told they couldn't sing.

Witnessing their journey and self discovery through music was both a joy and a privilege. There is nothing quite like experiencing someone explore and master something they though impossible.

It was through these deeply transformative experiences with my students that I realised I was doing more than just teaching music; I was coaching them through some of life’s challenges. This inspired me to formally train as a life coach and expand my practice beyond the world of music. I now help people in a broader sense, guiding them to discover their true potential and build lives that resonate with who they really are.

My approach to coaching is philosophical. I hold a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Religion, and Ethics from Heythrop College, University of London. I use philosophy as a way to explore and understand the world, always driven by a sense of curiosity, and an endless fascination with the human mind.
